National Institute of Technology Meghalaya invites
applications from Indian nationals possessing requisite academic qualifications
and experience, with commitment to work and an inclination towards
institutional development, for appointment to the various positions listed
below on permanent/contract basis.
1. Superintendent – 01 post
Qualification : 1. Bachelor’s Degree with First Class
(Hons.) or equivalent grade Or Master’s Degree with excellent academic record.
2. Knowledge in use of Office Automation Software.
Pay Scale : PB2 (Rs.9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of
Rs.4200/-
2. Technical Assistant (Civil/ Mechanical) – 02
posts
Qualification : First Class Diploma in Engineering (Civil/
Mechanical) of 3 Yrs. duration plus 2 Yrs. relevant experience Or First Class
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical)
Pay Scale : PB2 (Rs.9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of
Rs.4200/-
3. Technical Assistant (Chemistry) (on Contract) –
01 post
Qualification : First Class Bachelors Degree in Chemistry
with 2 Yrs. relevant experience Or Master’s Degree in Chemistry
Consolidated pay in the range of 10,000/- to 12,000/-
depending on qualification
4. Technician (ECE/ EEE/ CSE) – 03 posts
Qualification : 3 Yrs. Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/
Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Computer/ IT) Or 3 Yrs. Bachelor’s Degree
(Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Computer/ IT) Or ITI certificate of
2 Yrs. duration in Electronics/ Wireman/ Computer Trade and Class 10 pass with
at least 60%.
Pay Scale : PB1 (Rs. 5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of Rs.
2000/-
5. Junior Assistant – 04 posts
Qualification : Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in use of
Office Automation Software
Pay Scale : PB1 (Rs.5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of
Rs.2000/-
6. Multitasking Staff – 02 posts
Qualification : ITI certificate of 2 years duration in
Electronics/ Wireman/ Fitter/ Welder/ Machine Operator/ Computer Trade and
Class 10 pass with at least 45%.
Pay Scale : PB1 (Rs.5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of
Rs.1800/-
